We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Marketplace Manager to oversee and optimise our presence on online marketplace on eBay. The Marketplace Manager will be responsible for managing product listings, driving sales growth, and ensuring our brand maintains a competitive edge. This role requires a combination of analytical skills, creativity, and a deep understanding of marketplace dynamics. Key Responsibilities: Marketplace Strategy : Develop and implement strategies to optimise sales, increase visibility, and improve rankings on eBay Product Listing Management : Create, manage, and optimise product listings, including titles, descriptions, images, keywords, and pricing, to maximise conversions and visibility. Inventory & Order Management : Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to ensure product availability. Manage order fulfillment processes and resolve any issues. Advertising & Promotions : Plan and execute advertising campaigns on eBay to drive traffic and sales. Develop promotional strategies such as discounts, deals, and coupons. Performance Monitoring : Use marketplace analytics tools to track key performance metrics, such as sales, conversion rates, and customer reviews. Provide actionable insights and reports to improve performance. Customer Engagement : Work with customer service teams to manage customer inquiries, reviews, and feedback to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Work to maintain a positive seller rating and reputation. Competitive Analysis : Conduct regular competitive analysis to stay informed of industry trends, pricing strategies, and new opportunities in the marketplace. Compliance & Policies : Ensure all activities comply with marketplace policies and guidelines. Stay updated on changes to marketplace rules and adjust strategies accordingly. Collaboration : Work closely with eCommerce, marketing, product, and logistics teams to align marketplace efforts with broader business objectives. This is a hybrid role with 3 days per week based at our NDC in Wolverhampton. About You The successful candidate will be a skilled marketing strategist who is able to drive creativity, motivation and enthusiasm in others. What you'll need to succeed: Batchelors Degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce or related field Experience in managing online marketplace (eBay) with a proven track record of driving sales growth Proficiency in using marketplace tools and experience with analytics platforms and Excel. Strong ability to analyse data, interpret trends and make data driven decisions to improve performance. High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in product listings, pricing and compliance. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
