In this role, youll work towards your IT Support Level 3 Apprenticeship delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships. A Typical Day in the Job: Assemble computer systems, including desktops, workstations, and servers, based on provided configurations and specifications. Install hardware components such as CPUs, RAM, storage drives, graphics cards, and motherboards. Connect and organise cables neatly within the systems to optimise airflow and aesthetics. Conduct quality control checks to ensure all assembled systems meet the company's standards and customer requirements. Carry out thorough testing to ensure proper functionality and performance as well as troubleshoot and diagnose any issues that may arise and resolve them promptly. Update firmware and BIOS to ensure the hardware is running at optimal performance and security levels. Perform operating system installations, updates, and configurations. Maintain accurate records of the assembly and refurbishment process, including any modifications made and issues encountered. Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team. Salary, Hours & Benefits: Salary £13,500 - £14,500 Per Annum Monday Friday 8.30am 5pm 22 days holiday increasing to 25 days over 5 years of service plus public holidays.
