Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to join our team. As the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will be responsible for analysing financial data, developing budgets, and providing strategic recommendations to improve financial performance. Managing and coordinating the UK division on reporting, forecasting against the actuals and analysing in preparation for review by the CFO, CEO, and the rest of the board.
Day to day responsibilities:
o Utilising the tailored financial system, you will be managing the weekly and diversional reporting.
o Initiating cycles for the strategic planning, budgets and forecasts.
o Ensuring all reports are backed up by the appropriate schedules and in a format that all can understand and be able to have answers ready when challenged by the Divisional and Group Boards.
o Responsible of all the three business units and work with the BI divisional manager to constantly update and maximise the divisional BI toolset.
o Having a continuous improvement mindset to evolve, align and be able to adapt to ever changing needs for the reporting.
The ideal candidate will be:
o A finance professional (ideally CIMA qualified).
o Have strong experience in all the areas of Financial Planning & Analysis.
o Extensive skills to adapt to change parts of the business model.
o Strong computer skills especially Advanced Excel and utilised BI Systems.
o Dealt with all operational parts of the business.
Other Duties:
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data and insights.
• Provide strategic recommendations based on financial analysis to drive business growth.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress towards financial goals.
• Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts.
