Macgregor Black are partnering with a Growing Gifting Business on the search for an Account Manager. This is a permanent role based in London.
As the Account Manager you will, be accountable for several accounts including a major Grocery Retailer, high street accounts and discounters for Greeting Cards Gift packaging, Calendars & Dairies
Key Responsibilities:
* Set the annual growth strategy for your key accounts, ensuring long-term success and profitability.
* Work alongside the Range & Product Manager to create tailored product ranges for your customers. Submit proposals for both everyday and seasonal range reviews.
* Propose pricing structures for accounts and products, aligning with profitability targets.
* Introduce and present new product ranges annually to key accounts, ensuring fresh and appealing offerings.
* Monitor and track key KPIs for each account, proposing and executing actions to improve performance where necessary.
* Prepare accurate annual forecasts for each account and conduct quarterly reviews, identifying any potential risks and proposing solutions.
What are we looking for?
* 3-5 years in account management, sales, or buying, with a strong understanding of the retail landscape.
* Strong administration, time management, and organisational skills, enabling you to manage multiple accounts and tasks efficiently.
* A motivated individual eager to grow and develop their career in Sales or National Account Management.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders.
* A self-starter with the ability to work independently, drive results, and take initiative.
