Main duties of the job As Head of Enterprise Monitoring you will: o Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of monitoring solutions across the organisation's products, services and infrastructure, including networks, servers, applications, and cloud services. o Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise monitoring strategy aligned with the organisation's vision and missions. o Have a strategic mindset to ensure the seamless monitoring of extensive digital services and underpinning infrastructure, to deliver optimal performance, availability, and reliability. o Develop the business case and work with product and platform teams to develop and implement an Enterprise Operations Centre which would use the tooling to monitor systems, identify issues and proactively take action to improve performance and availability. o Ensure all tools are fit for purpose, meet business requirements, and are effectively integrated to provide real-time insights to the end-user experience. o Provide technical leadership to optimise the performance of IT infrastructure o Own the operational relationship with suppliers, ensuring services and products are aligned to industry best practice and regulatory and contractual requirements. o Work on high-profile systems and solutions delivered at the National scale, in line with the organisation's commitment to agile delivery practices and a product-based approach.
