The Team & Focus of the Role Are you a highly organised individual with operational team management skills? Are you a self-starter, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills? We have a newly created opportunity to come and join our team as an Operations Manager, working closely with the Divisional Managing Partner of our Advisory Services division. This role will be responsible for assisting the Divisional Managing Partner (DMP), in the efficient running of the division, dealing with the administration of divisional matters, and acting as a conduit for information passing between the wider division, business and DMP. It is essential you are able to communicate effectively, as you will be liaising with other Divisional Operations Managers in the business to share best practice, coordinate output and deliver consistency across the wider Partnership. You will also be involved in coordination of key activities relating to our Shared Services functions, including People, Risk & Compliance, Finance and Business Development and Communications. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), based at our office in Ashby de la Zouch. We also operate a hybrid working policy. Volunteering Leave equating to 2 days per year (pro rata if you’re part-time) Duties will include: Principle support to the DMP for key projects, actions and reporting activities Assisting with the creation of business plans, and collation/monitoring of annual action plans Direct liaison with Shared Services and other third parties for the coordination of all operational matters Diary management for the DMP for all divisional matters Supporting the Divisional Management Team through budget and forecasting updates, as well as organising preparations for quarterly business reviews Working closely with Department Heads and conducting quarterly work reviews Managing the financial timetable for the divisional budget, forecasting and MI reporting Acting as the primary point of contact for the People Team on all people matters, including liaising with the Talent Acquisition team, Learning & Development team, and overseeing onboarding of New Starters Acting as the primary point of contact for the Risk & Compliance team, assisting in coordinating audit and associated compliance matters Working closely with the IT team to provide general support for the division The successful candidate will have Highly organised and capable of acting dynamically, prioritising workload to meet a continuous stream of deadlines Good people manager with operational team management skills and the ability to flex resources to achieve business goals A self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to operate independently and to collaborate with other teams and colleagues to deliver cross functional projects and initiatives Excellent communication skills, verbal and written Ability to translate data into relevant, easy to digest insight, recommendations and action Comfortable engaging and operating at all levels of the business Experience in business process design, implementation and ongoing continuous improvement Why Fisher German?
