We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team at the Birmingham Register Office who enjoy working with the public and have experience of carrying out routine Health and Safety checks and minor maintenance tasks. About the Role: As an Assistant Registration Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of essential services. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with Wedding and Civil Partnership ceremonies as an usher, particularly at weekends. Maintaining the building and its grounds, including key holder duties, minor maintenance tasks etc. Providing essential administrative support for the registration of births and deaths. Producing and dispatching copy certificates for events dating back to 1837. Providing administrative support to the ceremonies section and senior officers.
