We are currently looking to recruit an Operations Manager who will manage day to day operations at CMS Danskin Acoustics with the support of the management team, to ensure all customer orders are completed to manage customer expectations.
What does the role involve?
As Operations Manager, you will manage site operations including production and warehouse activities ensuring all customer orders are completed in accordance with time, cost and quality requirements needed to meet customer expectations. You will also introduce metrics that allow the setting of achievable, time related, quality, efficiency and productivity goals in line with business requirements; ensure targets are in place and that they are effectively monitored.
The successful candidate will also ensure the department is legally compliant and adherent to Company Procedures and Standards and confirm the site facility operates a safe working environment ensuring compliance to current legislation, company policy, local Risk Assessments, COSHH assessments and Safe Operating Procedures
The successful candidate will require:
Experience in operations management in a manufacturing facility.
Effective verbal and written communication, and numeric skills.
IT literate with experience with MRP systems and general Microsoft packages.
Health and Safety qualification to NEBOSH certificate level.
Leads from the front; inspires and motivates team members by taking control of situations and ensuring the best output is achieved.
Demonstrate the highest professionalism; shows ability to accept responsibility for own actions and follow through on commitments made.
Self-motivated to set and achieve goals, overcome obstacles and prepared to take calculated risks to accomplish and exceed goals.
