As Senior Game Designer you will work within a talented design team, to create innovative feature, gameplay and system designs, both written and technical, to the highest possible standards. Be pro-active in ensuring good lines of communication are maintained within the design team and across other teams within the studio. As we build our collaborative culture, we feel Lighthouse Games is best suited to someone who is happy to work a minimum of 2-3 days a week in the studio in Leamington Spa. Key Duties Include Work within a talented, multi-discipline design team and produce detailed feature and system designs to the highest possible quality. Maintain and iterate on those designs, based upon feedback and the changing nature of the production process. Utilise in-engine tools to produce gameplay examples and concepts. Act as a mentor and example of quality to the junior members of the design team. Be pro-active in developing good lines of communication with team members responsible for the implementation of features and systems. Requirements Commercial experience in design roles working, ideally working on AAA console or PC titles. A high level of experience in the creation of feature and systems design documentation and prototype specifications. High level of knowledge of the current games market and a real passion for games. Effective and comfortable communicator.
