Your role:
As a Network Manager, you will support the Strategic Manager and Strategic Director, taking on a wide range of responsibilities, including:
1. Management: Oversee all aspects of network management and operations within the Highways PFI contract and ensure Service Provider performance meets contractual standards and legislation.
2. Communication and Leadership: Manage communications, press releases, and maintenance of the PFI website. Handle correspondence with the public, members, and Town and Parish Councils.
3. Decision-Making: Approve the Operations and Maintenance programme and planned investment, and various technical aspects like survey methodologies and condition indices.
What we are looking for:
1. Leadership: Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate your team.
2. Knowledge and Problem-Solving: Understanding of current legislation and best practice in the highways industry to drive effective problem-solving.
3. Financial Skill: Experience managing significant capital and revenue highways budgets.
4. Communication: Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiating skills.
5. Qualifications and experience: Relevant experience in highways network management and highways infrastructure projects and a relevant professional qualification is desirable.
