Teaching Tomorrow, a reputable education agency locally, are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher for our client school in Luton, to start ideally as soon as possible or after May half-term.
Our client school are committed to fostering creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills in students. Their Design and Technology (DT) department is a dynamic and integral part of the curriculum, inspiring students to explore the intersection of design, engineering, and technology.
In return they are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated DT Teacher to join their team, on a full-time basis with the potential option to go permanent from September 2025. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design, with resistant materials preferred but not essential, the ability to teach and inspire students across key stage 3 and key stage 4.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
2. Strong knowledge of the DT national UK curriculum
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Health and safety certificate
5. Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of individual students
6. Enthusiasm for promoting health and wellbeing among young people.
