Job summary We are expanding our Parkinson's Disease service in South and West Hertfordshire, and have an exciting opportunity for a new Advanced Specialist Allied Health Professional with experience in Parkinson's disease. This role involves providing care for people with Parkinson's within the community, including running out-patient clinics and visiting people in their homes. You will be working as the community specialist in medication management. You will be working alongside and leading our current Parkinson's Nurse and be supported by our great multi-disciplinary team environment, alongside many highly skilled and experienced Physiotherapists, Specialist Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, support staff. Main duties of the job The service is passionate about maintaining high standards of care. You will be involved in contributing to the improvement of services and ensuring quality care provision. As an advanced role, you will have opportunities to show leadership within the Parkinson's service.Our ethos is for every member of the team to grow as a clinician, and to be supported to maintain their wellbeing in both life and in work. Formal development and training opportunities are available through the CLCH Academy, including Quality Improvement, and you would have access to specialist Parkinson's courses as appropriate.
