Are you passionate about the mental wellbeing of the children in your community? Are you aspiring to build a career in therapy or psychology?
We are looking for bright and enthusiastic Graduates to work as SEN Teaching Assistants supporting children with behaviour and mental health issues. Candidates with relevant experience will also be considered! The SEN children are aged 5 to 16 and require consistent, ongoing support in order to ensure they have the highest quality of care and child-centred support. Experience in a similar role would be desirable but not essential.
This is a FANTASTIC opportunity for a mental health assistant to work alongside the therapists and psychologists based on-site at school. You will be mentored and have the opportunity to shadow sessions and learn from them. Plus, you will gain invaluable experience working with Special Needs and Mental Health issues. This is a great opportunity for an aspiring educational or occupational psychologist, therapeutic support worker, or SEN teacher.
We are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants who can bring enthusiasm, passion, and experience to the classroom. They are looking for a SEN TA who will be proactive and adaptable and be able to use their own initiative. Resilience and confidence to work with challenging behaviour is desirable!

Ideal for Psychology/Counselling Graduates
The SEN children in these schools require a mental health assistant who understands their complex needs and is open-minded and up for a challenge. The children have varying needs although SEMH is the main provision. Suitable experience can include working with SEN children and/or adults in any setting, even on a personal level such as with family. Level 3 qualifications+ are also required and a Degree would be most desirable.
