One of my local government clients are currently recruiting an experienced Senior Project Manager on a temporary basis. This is a 3-month minimum contract with the possibility of the role being extended further to work Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm. Hybrid working role were, however, you will be required to attend the office 2/3 times a week. Overview/Duties To develop a Carers’ Welcome Pack (CWP), targeted at Carers aged 18 and above. You will be involved in every aspect, from planning the project, researching information, generating ideas, organising and leading co-design events, determining the structure and content, drafting the CWP, planning and, as relevant, undertaking the promotion and socialisation of the CWP. The Carers’ Welcome Pack is an objective that was identified through co-design work with carers and wider community stakeholders, as part of the development of the Bi- borough Adult Carers’ Strategy (Apply online only). There are some carers who are known to the Council and engaged with the Council and Council services and there are some that are not. There is a need for a holistic CWP that provides information and advice for all adults undertaking caring activity. This welcome pack will need to be accessed independently or through known Council services. Working in partnership with stakeholders, including Carers Services and placing carers, service users and residents at the heart of the project, you will develop an information and advice guidance pack for carers that empowers them to be able to look after their own wellbeing and seek support when needed. This autonomous piece of work is time limited to a maximum of 6 months, and therefore requires someone who is self-driven to lead and execute the project.
