About the role
We are looking to recruit a Wet Trade Operative to work within our Property Services Team, to carry out the repair and maintenance of our domestic properties.
You will have a broad range of general building skills, such as bricklaying, roofing, plastering, drainage and groundworks. The ability to lay vinyl sheet flooring would also be a useful attribute, although not essential.
You will also have experience of carrying out repair and maintenance work on domestic properties, with the ability to complete work to a high standard and in a timely manner.
You will be customer focused with excellent communication skills and able to form good relationships with customers and colleagues. A basic level of IT skills is important as the use of “tablets” is routine. A driving licence is essential.
A DBS check will be required for the successful applicant as part of our pre-employment checks.
