We have an exciting opportunity for a new Medical Nurse Practitioner to join our established gastro team. The gastroenterology department within the RUH is a busy and dynamic specialty. It comprises a 24-bedded Gastro Ward, an endoscopy unit, and a Gastro outpatient department.
We are looking for an experienced, senior nurse who holds at least one Masters Module in Clinical Assessment and/or Diagnostic Reasoning. We will, however, consider applications from a senior nurse with a gastroenterology background who can be supported to undertake one of the core academic modules as a band 6.
On successful completion of your first academic module, you would then be upgraded to a Band 7. Having a nurse prescribing qualification would also be advantageous.

The post holder will be line managed by the deputy Director of Nursing for Medicine and receive clinical supervision from the Gastroenterology Consultants.
