Abatec are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join our client, one of the UK's fastest growing Civil Engineering Contractors based in South Wales.
This role will be responsible for managing multiple energy projects throughout the UK. This person will have prior experience working on energy projects, for example, onshore wind, battery storage, or substations.

As a Project Manager you will:
1. Manage projects and their delivery times, incorporating safety, quality, cost, and the environment.
2. Act as a lead, setting the example and encouraging staff.
3. Ensure compliance with company regulations and relevant legislation.
4. Communicate effectively with stakeholders within the business.
5. Be responsible for best value and commercial viability of bids.
6. Liaise/meet with Designers, Local Authorities, Environmental Agency, etc.
7. Be responsible for attending monthly project meetings on site.
Our client requires a Project Manager with:
1. Essential: Civil Engineering/Construction management degree.
2. Experience delivering civil projects from pre-construction to commissioning.
3. Complete understanding of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
4. Knowledge of P6, Autocad, and CEMAR.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. A valid UK Driving Licence.
7. Site qualifications: CSCS card, SMSTS (5 day), First Aid at Work (4 day).
Salary/Benefits:
1. £60,000 - £75,000 per annum DOE.
2. Car allowance.
3. Competitive benefits package inclusive of enhanced holiday entitlement.
