About the Role An Outstanding school in Harrow requires a passionate Physical Education Teacher to join their sports department, starting ASAP on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent. You'll deliver engaging PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, promoting students' physical fitness and sports skills. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging Physical Education Teacher lessons, covering a range of sports and activities. Prepare students for sports competitions and assessments. Develop students' physical fitness and sports skills. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the PE curriculum and resources. Organise and lead sports-related extracurricular activities. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Physical Education. Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level. Strong sports skills and knowledge of sports science. Excellent communication and motivational skills. Ability to inspire and motivate students.
