A client of ours in Witham requires a Purchasing Administrator to join their team ASAP, initially for 4 weeks. Full-time working Monday - Friday 9-5 (30 minute lunch) and paying £12.50-£14.50 per hour depending on experience.
Key Purchasing Administration Duties:
1. Imports - arrange collections of goods, log all imports, create customs clearance instructions.
2. EDNA's - support with the resolution of invoice discrepancies.
3. Price Files - coordinate 2025 price file increase notifications, create impact analysis for review, and once authorised, upload into systems.
4. Product Promotions - collect, review and upload promotional activity from suppliers (National Promotions/DD Flyer).
5. Purchase Order Management - confirm purchase orders, call suppliers to chase ETA, expedite goods when required.
6. Data Collection and Validation - collect, review, validate and update any procurement related data within our systems (Lead times, unit of measure, case quantities etc.).
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Advanced Excel skills.
2. Confident with data and familiar with doing V/X Lookups.
3. Confident telephone manner.
4. Determined mindset with a positive attitude.
5. A supply chain/purchasing background would be preferred, but not essential.
