Job Duties:
* Develop and deliver engaging and informative Food Technology lessons to students
* Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages students to explore and develop their culinary skills
* Plan and implement practical cooking sessions and food demonstrations
* Assess and provide constructive feedback on students' work to support their progress
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and share best practises
Required Qualifications:
* Relevant degree in Food Technology or related field
* Teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Education:
Degree in Food Technology or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in Food Technology
Knowledge and Skills:
* Excellent understanding of food preparation techniques and nutrition
* Ability to engage and inspire students of varying abilities
* Strong communication and organisational skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in Food Technology or Education
* Experience in curriculum development
Working Conditions:
This role involves working in a school setting, with regular hours during term time. Some evening or weekend work may be required for school events or parent meetings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
