About the role: SEN Teaching Assistant: We’re seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Colindale, London. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting students with special educational needs in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. In this role, you’ll work closely with teachers to provide 1:1 and small group support, fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment. You’ll play a key part in helping our students reach their full potential, with a focus on those with additional learning needs.

Application Requirements:
• Experience working with children, ideally in a primary or SEN setting.
• Passion for working with children with additional needs, supporting their learning and well-being.
• A proactive and positive approach, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
• A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance (or equivalent) is preferred, but experience and dedication are key.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide targeted support to SEN students in KS1 and KS2, helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with planning and delivering learning activities that cater to individual needs and IEPs.
• Encourage social and emotional development, fostering self-confidence and resilience in each child.
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to support student progress and well-being.
• Contribute to a nurturing classroom environment, ensuring each student feels valued and supported.
