Job summary Abernethy House Surgery is a friendly and welcoming GP Practice located in the heart of Enfield. We are looking for a full time/ part-time Practice Nurse who will work as an integral part of the nursing team, using their skills and knowledge to offer a wide range of care to our patients. Main duties of the job The post-holder will be involved in Childhood Immunisation, Adult Vaccinations, cervical screening, management of long-term conditions, NHS Health checks, contraception, wound managment etc. You will perform a wide variety of nursing duties according to your skills and provide a caring and empathetic approach to the role. The post holder should be fully qualified, computer literate (preferably with experience of EMIS WEB), and have at least two years of primary care Practice Nursing experience. You must have excellent communication skills, be organised, work well under pressure and enjoy working flexibly within a multi-disciplinary team setting. You should be keen to show initiative.
