Home Instead is seeking compassionate and dedicated Adult Care Assistants to join our team in Welwyn Hatfield, United Kingdom. As an Adult Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing personalized care and support in their homes.
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and meal preparation
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
* Help clients with medication reminders and administration as directed
* Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
* Collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care
* Document and report any changes in client's condition or concerns
* Participate in creating and implementing personalized care plans
* Assist with light housekeeping tasks as needed
* Transport clients to appointments or social activities when required
* Adapt to changing client needs and schedules with flexibility and professionalism
Benefits Offered:
* Hourly rates of £12.00 - £13.00 per hour (averaging £14.00 per hour with benefits).
* Paid travel between clients (some restrictions apply).
* Minimum 1-hour visits.
* Paid travel expenses £0.30/per mile - £0.45/per mile.
* All training paid including workshops and e-learning.
* No set shifts - we work with your availability.

Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
* Valid UK driving licence + own car - mandatory.
* Free to work agreed hours on alternate weekends.
* Live within our franchise boundaries - if not you will be referred to your local office.
* Have the Right to Work in the UK.
Additional Information
We are also interested in Live-In care professionals and as a Live In Care Professional, you will be provided with 3 meals a day or an allowance from the client, a separate room to stay and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support and high rates of pay.
