Job Description
Checkout.com is seeking a dedicated Senior Analyst, Procurement to join our Procurement team to support the business growth and expansion!
The role will support the planning, implementation and purchasing and procurement strategies for Software and IT spend across the company globally. This includes assisting stakeholders to acquire resources within budget, facilitating communication between team members, suppliers, and key business partners, and proactively planning and sourcing the appropriate goods and services to help Checkout.com grow and meet its strategic objectives.
In addition, the Senior Analyst will be responsible for vendor performance, ensuring quality control throughout the contracting and performance lifecycle. You'll also ensure Procurement guidelines, processes, principles, ethics, and sustainability objectives are all accounted for and constantly strive to deliver the lowest TCO for solutions.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Accounts Payable & Procurement Operations, you will support the Category Manager for Technology and Product. This is a key role with significant opportunity to make an impact and build trust as an SME.
How you’ll make an impact
1. Monitor and analyse trends in overall third party spend in order to make recommendations for the future, and to identify areas for possible savings or operational improvement.
2. Develop, establish, implement, and carry out supplier and out-sourcer guidelines, obligations, and service level agreements.
3. Align with all purchasing policies and procedures, including those for goods and services, in conjunction with department leads and department-specific requirements.
4. Assist with the develop and deliver purchasing reports, requirements documentation, and tender documents.
5. Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions of sale, and warranties of goods and products.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with key team members and ensure regular communication and reporting as appropriate.
7. Effectively communicate procurement strategies to team members and partners in a timely and clear way.
8. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in procurement processes, contract management, and vendor communications.
9. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple procurement requests and operational tasks simultaneously.
10. Opportunity to work on operational improvement projects to enhance the efficiency of the procurement team and improve experiences for key stakeholders.
Qualifications

1. Strong working knowledge of Procurement processes, policies and best practices.
2. Highly motivated and self-directed; ability to prioritise and implement while under pressure.
3. A sophisticated ability to build tight-knit collaborations with partners and colleagues, act as a subject matter expert, internal consultant and trusted adviser.
4. Compassionate with strong interpersonal skills; able to influence, negotiate, challenge suppliers and resolve varied stakeholder issues.
5. Highly adaptable and flexible; able to adjust quickly to new situations and changing priorities.
6. Comfortable in a varied role and growing and developing team, able to take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.
7. Pragmatic with the ability to navigate complexity in a dynamic and innovative environment.
8. CIPS Level 3 or studying for a professional qualification.
