About the Role:As a People Partner, you'll drive key HR initiatives, focusing on performance and talent management, recruitment, onboarding, retention and HR system implementation across multiple sites. You'll collaborate with site leaders to enhance the employee lifecycle and use data insights to drive improvements in performance, attendance, and retention. Partnering with HR Centers of Excellence, you’ll implement strategies in leadership development, talent management, diversity, and inclusion. You'll also lead regional HR projects, ensuring they meet workforce needs, while promoting change initiatives to improve employee experiences. With expertise in employee relations, you will collaborate with our ER team on disciplinary, grievance, and attendance management cases. You'll advise on employment law, ensuring compliance, and champion Ocado’s values of diversity and inclusion. Representing Ocado Logistics, you'll work with key clients and collaborate with Health and Safety teams to maintain safe working systems.
About You:Broad experience as a generalist HR professional including a working understanding of employee relations, recruitment, learning and development, and employee engagement. Strong communication skills are key, as you'll work across all employee levels, while your leadership, stakeholder management, and people management abilities will drive HR initiatives effectively.
You should be an excellent problem-solver with analytical skills, able to translate operational goals into HR actions. Strong organisation, prioritisation, and networking skills are essential, as is experience in conflict resolution and mediation.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and HR databases is required, along with flexibility in working hours, a full driving licence, and the ability to travel regularly. A CIPD qualification is desirable.
