Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Deployment Coordinator to track and coordinate deployment activities within our organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills and be proficient in various software applications. This role requires excellent communication and organisation skills to ensure every single installation is completed on time and to the client's satisfaction.
Duties
1. Manage the deployment process from planning to execution, ensuring all tasks are completed on time, budget and agreed deployment plan.
2. Coordinate with various departments to facilitate the deployment of products or services.
3. Maintain accurate records through data entry and computerised systems, ensuring all information is up-to-date and correct.
4. Consistently and accurately update client information in Acrelec's internal tracking systems.
5. Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing correspondence.
6. Ensure effective communication with team members and stakeholders via phone and email, demonstrating professional phone etiquette.
7. Assist in training new staff members on deployment procedures and software usage.
8. Continuously evaluate deployment processes for efficiency improvements.
Experience
1. Attention to detail and a highly organised and proactive nature.
2. Experience of working in a customer facing role, servicing multi clients or stakeholders.
3. Strong customer service ethic and excellent organisation skills.
4. Experience in co-ordinating a number of time critical activities alongside daily routine tasks.
5. Excellent customer service skills, via both written and verbal communications.
6. Calm under pressure and an ability to reprioritise at short notice.
7. Solid knowledge of Excel for managing spreadsheet trackers.
8. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Previous experience in a deployment or project management role would be an advantage but is not mandatory.
Desirable Skills
1. In depth knowledge of more complex Excel tasks (Vlookups / IF statement).
2. Experience of working with finance teams (Purchase orders, invoicing, PMO’s).
3. A good core grasp of IT hardware (PC components) and software (O/S awareness) fundamentals.
4. Familiar with POS/EPOS systems.
5. Experience in Retail deployments or similar, along with familiarity with common PC components.
6. Previous experience of working in a start-up/evolving technology business.
7. Ability to work to own initiative.
