Our Display design experts work with customers to solve challenges specific to their industries, including environmental, safety, and accuracy needs.
Principal Responsibilities:
* Identification of net new, large projects for an assigned platform product range (Com modules, custom displays & full custom systems & HMI)
* Reproduce success stories
* Technical advisory "Technology Influencer" function for customers and sales regarding the product lines and customer inquiries
* Convincing presentation of new products/Roadmap to customers and sales
* Leading contact in the first phase of a new project request
* Coordinates projects with technical expertise (EOL, PCN, … troubleshooting)
* Management of internal resources for a successful Design Win
* Opportunity and project maintenance (Project tool: Salesforce)
* Design-Win responsibility
* Support of the forecast process in the responsible product area
* Support of product marketing concerning product definitions, service & support definitions, risk assessment, pricing strategies and make-or-buy decisions
* Market and competition analysis
* Support marcom activities (Coordination of training, roadshows, exhibitions, …)
* Focus & Advise the sales on the "good" project
* Support the quote/price and value proposition discussions (share experience)
* Help sales and customers understand Avnet Embedded engineering and manufacturing processes
* Drive QBR and Roadmap "Next Gen" discussions
* Develop personal relationships (make friends) with customers engineers
* Foster the synergy with Display/Touch Sta
* Engage and build relationships with the strategic Partner Network
* Build up or extend strong customer relationships at all levels in customer organizations.
* Develop a deep understanding of customers’ goals and objectives, and articulate how our offerings address their needs.
* Actively participate and support in all phases of planning and execution for your region, from initial discovery to the technical win.

Job Level Specifications:
* Solid understanding of business, financials, products/services, the market, and the needs of assigned accounts. Understands emerging market trends and interdependencies impacting customers; leverages understanding to expand relationships with customers. May be recognized as an expert in one area.
* Complexity is high (territory/account, products/services, sales or account management process). Requires developed sales expertise across a defined portfolio of products/services/accounts; applies expertise in a complex sales environment.
* Works independently or may lead teams to identify, pursue or manage accounts/opportunities with large size/strategic importance/risk of loss. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may serve as team lead and help develop colleagues' and customers' understanding. Has autonomy to set and negotiate product/service terms; plans own territory or account approach.
* Collaborates with team and leadership. Has direct contact with clients and decision-makers; participates in team sales for major accounts.
* Leads the negotiations on medium-sized, complex accounts; plans own territory or account approach. Works within broad guidelines and policies to develop business with new and existing customers.
Work Experience:
* Minimum experience required is typically 5+ years of relatable experience.
