The Cluster EHS Manager will spearhead EHS initiatives to cultivate top-performing EHS teams, ensuring that our processes and systems not only meet legal compliance but also adhere to the Weetabix Standard for Health and Safety and the Weetabix Environment Standard. With a focus on continuous improvement, this role is essential to maintaining our commitment to excellence.
* Design and implement the manufacturing EHS strategy across the Cluster, ensuring alignment with central EHS systems
* Lead EHS initiatives to achieve KPI Scorecard goals aligned with business objectives
* Develop and mentor cluster colleagues to ensure regulatory compliance and aim for zero accidents and incidents
* Ensure appropriate talent management through selection, training, and succession planning
* Support effective incident management and root cause analysis
* Drive closure of non-conformance actions through strong internal and external relationships
* Collaborate with senior stakeholders and liaise with government agencies as necessary
* Create and manage factory risk registers, developing investment plans for compliance and incident reduction.
* Oversee risk-based projects and change management for safety and environmental protection
* Act as a Subject Matter Expert on safety, health, and environmental topics
Requirements
Non-negotiables:
* Technical background in both Health & Safety and Environment with relevant qualifications
* Ability to create, maintain and update all elements of Safety Health & Environmental Management
* Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint is a must
* Proactive change agent able to build advocacy at the senior level harnessing excellent communication skills
* Demonstrable experience managing a team, change management and project management
* Alignment to Weetabix values
* Are always curious to find new ways to do business!
* Have the ability to demonstrate how you keep up to date in your field of expertise
