We are looking for anexperienced Payroll Manager to join our head office in Cowick. Reporting to theCompensation and Benefits Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team to manage the end-to-end UK payroll operation for approx. 1000employees.

1. Relevant Payroll qualification such as CIPP
2. Experience in a Payroll Manager role or similar Payroll Leadership role
3. Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws and compliance requirements
4. Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving abilities and a deep understanding of payroll systems and best practices
5. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment
6. Knowledge and proven experience of international payrolls includes shadowing overseas payrolls
7. Experience of annual reporting requirements such as Gender Pay Gap and Directors Reporting Requirements (DRR)
What You’ll Be Doing:

8. Manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing for approx. 1000 employees including benefits administration/payrolling benefits, ensuring accuracy and compliance
9. Lead, develop and motivate a small team, providing support and training as required
10. Work closely with finance, employment tax and the wider HR team to ensure collaboration and cross functional working for a seamless payroll operation
11. Lead and manage ongoing/new payroll projects
12. Handle payroll queries, from basic to complex, providing clear and professional responses to all levels of employees this may include queries from overseas assignments.
13. Manage third party relationships with payroll vendors and Service providers
14. Responsible for the processing of annual cycles such as pay review, bonus, P11D and PSA
