Job Title: Community Learning Disability Occupational Therapist Banding : Band 6 Location : Hereford, Herefordshire Working Hours: 37.5 per week Rate : Competitive, to be discussed upon application An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work for our NHS client based in Hereford, Herefordshire. The post is available to start as soon as possible, offering full-time hours for a short term contract What will your responsibilities be? As a Community Learning Disability Occupational Therapist, your role involves assessing individuals with learning disabilities to understand their abilities and needs. You will develop tailored treatment plans to help improve daily living skills, promote independence, and teach adaptive techniques. You’ll address sensory processing difficulties, suggest environmental modifications, and offer guidance to families and caregivers. You will also work to increase community participation and collaborate with other professionals to provide holistic support, ensuring that each individual receives the care they need to thrive in their daily lives. Qualifications and Experiences: Previous experience within community Sensory training and awareness experience Must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent HCPC registration How to apply?
