etiCloud have a fantastic opportunity for a Bookkeeping and Accounts Apprentice to join the team, working as part of the Finance team based on site in our Sheffield office. We are seeking a proactive, and eager individual who is passionate about pursuing a career and apprenticeship qualification in Finance.
Wage: £13,312 to £23,795.20 a year
Training course: Accounts or finance assistant (level 2)
Hours: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week typically 8.30am - 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch. Start and finish times can be flexible as agreed.
Location: 2 Broadfield Court, Sheffield S8 0XF.
Possible start date: Saturday 1 March

Work
As an apprentice, you'll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You'll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you'll do at work
1. Financial Administrative support with recording transactions
2. Supporting with sales ledger tasks, including preparing and sending invoices
3. Customer liaison regarding payments of invoices
4. Supporting with purchase ledger tasks, processing supplier invoices and responding to payment enquiries
5. Entering financial transactions onto our financial software
6. Assisting with the process of company expenses
7. Providing ad hoc financial support to the business as required
8. Receiving training to support with payroll administration

Training
An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Accounts or finance assistant (level 2) - Equal to GCSE
Course contents
* Record transactional data.
* Use the organisation's standard tools and processes to examine data to identify transactional issues such as, reconciliations and inconsistencies between invoices.
* Recognise and rectify routine errors, escalating as necessary.
* Plan and review accounting and finance tasks.
* Communicate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely results, avoiding jargon, using language tailored to the audience and different media methods with an appreciation of the risks and benefits to the business of social media and other digital applications.
* Use finance and accounting software packages to accurately input and manage data to contribute to routine accounting tasks.
* Handle data and digital technology in line with cyber and data security requirements, using data securely and safely, including backing up data.
Your training plan
Learning is a combination of live interactive learning sessions, with virtual learning resources and additional support from AAT coaches and trainers.

Each unit is followed by an exam done at an AAT assessment centre.

After this apprenticeship
After completion of the 12 month Level 2 Accounts or Finance Assistant apprenticeship there will be an option to take a permanent position within the Finance team, and continue the learning journey through further apprenticeships, or qualifications.
