Criteria
* A registered member of RCSLT and HCPC.
* Must hold a professional Speech and Language Therapy degree or equivalent.
* 2 Years post graduate experience working as a Speech & Language Therapist.
* Experience of working with Children & Young people with learning disabilities.
* Experience of working with Children with an ASC.
* Experience of delivering provision through EHCP Process.
Duties
As their Speech and Language Therapist, you will plan and continuously develop therapy to meet the pupils' communication needs. Other duties will include:
* Organising or supervising communication sessions individually or as a group.
* Carrying out individual interventions & baseline assessments.
* Documenting SMART targets for education plans, assessing and monitoring progress.
* Carrying out training to the wider education team relating to social communication.
* Providing accessible guidelines to be delegated to others when needed.
* Regularly monitoring and reviewing outcomes & constantly amending where needed.
* Writing reports and contributing to reviews.
