Our Client is seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join their busy conveyancing department in Luton, Bedfordshire.

Key Responsibilities
1. Development of a client portfolio by utilising good marketing skills, social media and networking opportunities, including internal cross referrals.
2. Dealing with client work including property sales, purchases, leases, shared ownership and probate sales, providing advice in writing, over the phone or during meetings, maintaining accurate records and meeting notes.
3. Ensuring appropriate searches are completed and any Land Registry entries.
4. Adherence to compliance policies and procedures.
5. Working within CQS requirements.
6. Management of client expectations.
7. Management of risk.
8. Dealing with new enquiries.
9. Case and file management.
10. Supporting in the development of other team members.
11. Participation in CPD.
12. Support in marketing initiatives including participation in the delivery of webinars and podcasts.
We are looking for someone with:
1. Ideally at least 1 year PQE experience of working in conveyancing.
2. Personal pride in the quality of their work which should be to a high standard.
3. Able to manage client expectations.
4. Knowledge of the requirements of Lexcel and CQS.
5. Strong communication skills both in writing and orally with a wide range of people.
6. IT literate (including the use of case management systems, MS Word, Outlook and Excel).
7. Self-motivated and able to perform to targets.
8. Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with colleagues at all levels.
9. Efficiency, reliability and flexibility.
10. Excellent file management skills with good time management skills.
