St. Philip’s School provides Specialist Residential Care and Education to young people aged 10 – 18 years, who have a range of additional support needs, including social, emotional, and behavioural development.
We are looking to recruit, on a full-time basis, a Teacher of ASN to support our curriculum offering. The successful candidate will work with individuals to identify and assess barriers to learning and, in partnership with appropriate stakeholders, address these needs through the delivery of a relevant curriculum while building capacity within St. Philip's School staff.
We particularly welcome applications from Teachers with experience in special education and/or qualifications in Additional Support Needs. We also welcome applications from suitably qualified Primary Teachers.
We require enthusiastic, flexible, and compassionate individuals who are committed to this challenging work and can help the school develop Curriculum for Excellence and achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.
Candidates must be GTC registered. Terms and conditions are favorable, and salaries for these posts will be commensurate with individual qualifications and experience.
Staff benefits include access to a state-of-the-art fitness suite, swimming pool, games hall, and a free meal on shift.
Health screening will be undertaken prior to confirmation of employment. All convictions, whether spent or unspent, must be declared. Candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update. (It is a criminal offence to make an application if barred from regulated work.)
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorship for any of our job roles.
Please email completed application forms to admin@stphilipsschool.org.uk.
