About The Role
If you are passionate about driving sales growth and possess strong sales acumen, this is your chance to join a dynamic Sales team covering the Greater Manchester/Liverpool area (“M62 Corridor”) as a dedicated Brand Ambassador.
While having a background in customer service or promotional activity can be advantageous but what truly matters is your dedication and determination!
In your new role you will be promoting and selling our client’s range of worktops and panel products into kitchen studios and small- to medium-size kitchen and bedroom manufacturers by developing and maintaining relationships with key decision makers in target businesses.
The Role
1. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the features and benefits of their worktops.
2. Identify sales opportunities and generate leads through proactive prospecting and networking.
3. Ensure that customers have up-to-date POS, maintaining worktop display stands and providing customers with information and swatches.
4. Provide excellent customer service, addressing enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring client satisfaction.
5. Build a database of kitchen studios and small- to medium-size kitchen and bedroom manufacturers in agreed area.
6. Provide regular sales leads to distribution.
7. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products and market developments to effectively position their offerings.
8. Maintain accurate daily reports on customer visits, interactions, and sales performance metrics.
9. Continuously seek opportunities for growth and expansion within assigned territory or market segment.
10. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and exhibitions to increase brand visibility and market presence.
11. Provide feedback to management on market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to support strategic decision-making.
12. Act as a brand ambassador, promoting the company's values, mission, and commitment to quality in all interactions.
Your Profile
13. Prior experience in sales, particularly within the kitchen or interior design industry, is highly desirable.
14. The ability to confidently engage with clients and promote products effectively is crucial.
15. You should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the confidence to represent the company professionally in various settings.
16. Proficiency in managing a designated sales territory, particularly in the North of England region, is preferred.
17. Basic knowledge or interest in kitchen worktops and panel products is advantageous.
18. You should be willing to learn and familiarize yourself with the company's product range, features, and benefits.
19. While the role primarily involves independent work, you should also be a team player, capable of collaborating with internal teams such as marketing, customer support and their line manager to ensure customer satisfaction and achieve company objectives.
20. Language skills: English.
