About the Role
Ledbury Road is a home to 7 residents with a mix of learning and physical disabilities who love its vibrant atmosphere and sense of community.
As the Deputy Manager, you will work alongside the Manager and the team, ensuring that the highest standards of care and support are provided to our residents. You will promote and maintain high standards through effective people management, quality assurance processes, and leading by example.
You will work closely with all residents and their families, ensuring they are able to live their lives as independently as possible, supporting their wellbeing and acting on their feedback.
You will be self-motivated, pro-active, and enjoy using your own initiative to provide solutions and achieve great outcomes. You will have excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills, and be able to implement those plans effectively.
Minimum Requirements
With a relevant Level 3 qualification or above in health or social care alongside a minimum of two years’ care experience, you should also have some experience of people management, although not necessarily in a care setting.
As a Deputy Manager, you will be expected to work some early mornings, evenings, and every other weekend.
