Teacher of Business - Sixth Form College
Location: North East Hampshire
Salary: £30,500 - £47,133 (depending on experience)
Start Date: January 2025
Contract: Permanent, Full-time (part-time may be considered for the right candidate)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Business to join an Ofsted 'Outstanding' sixth form college in North East Hampshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching both A-level and vocational Business studies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver high-quality lessons in A-level and vocational Business studies
2. Plan and prepare engaging and challenging course materials
3. Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback
4. Contribute to the department's curriculum development
5. Participate in college events and extracurricular activities
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
2. Degree in Business or related field
3. Experience teaching A-level and vocational Business studies
4. Strong subject knowledge and passion for Business education
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
6. Right to work in the UK
