Vacancy – Goods In Warehouse Assistant
The Goods In Warehouse Assistant is responsible for the efficient receipt, inspection, and storage of supplies. This role ensures that all incoming goods meet quality standards and are accurately logged into the inventory system.
Duties would include:
• Receive and unload incoming deliveries
• Inspect goods for defects, damage or discrepancies; reporting any issues to the supplier or Team Leader
• Verify the accuracy of delivery documents and ensure all goods are logged into the inventory system
• Operative necessary warehouse equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Some order picking and packing of products
• Some heavy lifting (up to 25 kilos)
• General warehouse duties
Key Responsibilities:
• To adhere to all ISO9000, Health & Safety, Personnel Policies and Procedures
• Will have excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Be a team player
• Will have previous warehouse experience
