We are creating a new team that combines our employee relations and organisational development functions under one leader. This new team will concentrate on fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and genuine connection. We're searching for an enthusiastic leader to drive this transformation.
About the role
In this role, you will:
1. Establish a new Employee Experience and Development team, moving away from the traditional employee relations model.
2. Develop and implement a new employee experience strategy, aligning our policies and processes to the new way of working.
3. Prevent case escalation by utilising early intervention and engagement strategies.
4. Lead complex and sensitive ER cases, advising and supporting other colleagues.
5. Monitor and analyse trends and metrics, identifying areas of improvement and recommending solutions.
6. Stay updated on the latest developments in employment laws and best practices, sharing this knowledge to support compliance and risk mitigation.
About you
1. A proven track record of success in leading employee relations within a fast-paced environment (desirable but not essential).
2. Expertise in employment law and best practices.
3. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
4. Awareness of organisational development strategies and approaches.
5. A strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into action.
6. A genuine passion for people and a commitment to creating a positive workplace.
7. The ability to be both empathetic and decisive.
