Accounts Assistant - Permanent
Halecroft Recruitment is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join our client's finance team in Bolton as an Accounts Payable Assistant. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Supervisor, you will support day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing and meticulous record-keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
* Receive and record invoices from suppliers
* Resolve PO discrepancies with internal departments
* Ensure timely approval of invoices for payments
* Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations
* Maintain the supplier master data
* Assist with month-end activities
* Process employee expenses according to company policies
* Complete ad-hoc tasks and reporting as required
Requirements:
* A passionate individual eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
* Computer literate with a strong aptitude for numbers
* Familiarity with finance systems and processes
* Excellent communication skills
* Adaptable, working well with various departments
* Solid organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Experienced in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
The role offers a competitive salary of £28,000 plus bonus and a generous benefits package.
