Job Title: Lead Registered Veterinary Nurse - Theatre Salary: £31,605.50 per annum Location: Cinque Ports Vets, Kingsnorth Job type: Permanent Hours: 40.78 hours per week, 2 in 9 Saturday shifts (one as TOIL) Your role and responsibilities We're looking for a proactive and experienced nurse who loves theatre and shares our passion for incredible standards of care with a gentle, kind and empathetic nature. You will work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and other lead nurses to implement, and continually improve, a procedure plan that supports efficiency and an excellent patient journey. You'll support the team to undertake tasks such as consistent ASA scoring, completion of a surgical safety checklist and the introduction of lower flow anaesthesia as standard. As part of our aim fully utilise our nurses and patient care assistants, you'll be developing team knowledge and roles within theatre, including encouraging appropriate CPD completion. You will also be responsible for performing regular audits (including a review of Halo reporting where appropriate), share the results with the practice senior leadership team and make changes where appropriate.
