Specialist Nurse (Paediatric Mental Health)

The role will support both children and young people with mental health issues (children and young people up to 18 years), who present to acute services. Also supporting the team who deliver the care.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, you will be joining an exceptional team working together to help our patients to stay healthy, when they need it most.
Job responsibilities
This will offer an exciting opportunity to experience multi-disciplinary team working, between the Acute team and CAMHS. Working closely with CAMHS Crisis team, Eating disorder team and MERS, with the ability to work on your own and be self-motivated. Striving to deliver the best care to children and young people, with mental health issues, who come into contact with the acute services, on the ward, in outpatients and in ED. You will be supported and encouraged to look at ways the service can evolve and improve. Some experience preferable, however, appropriate training will be available.
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday 9 to 5, times can be flexible

This is a fixed term contract until 30/09/2025. For current NHS employees, this post could be a secondment opportunity.
