Permanent - All year round - 27.75 Hours per week - Compressed hours over 3 days of the week working 7:45am - 6.00pm.
Are you passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a positive impact on early childhood development? We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Manager to lead our vibrant nursery school community based at Amersham Road in Reading.
Candidates should possess a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 or its equivalent in childcare and education, along with a demonstrated ability in delivering high-quality childcare and education.
We are looking for a warm, caring, organised, and dynamic individual, possessing excellent knowledge of the EYFS and demonstrating self-motivation. The role involves creating a secure and engaging environment where children are at the forefront of all you do.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
• Providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged birth to 5 years.
• Leading team meetings and room meeting
• Supervision of staff
• Leading the nursery in the absence of the manager
• Overseeing the planning and delivering age-appropriate activities to foster holistic development.
• Building strong relationships with children, parents, and fellow team members.
