Principal Structural Engineer

FPS is working with a successful consulting engineer who are expanding and need a Principal Structural Engineer to join their established team. They are involved in lot of interesting work across sectors such manufacturing, industrial, power and much more.
This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in project management, client relations, and structural design. You'll provide leadership to junior team members, supporting the successful delivery of projects. You will collaborate closely with directors, and other department heads, actively seeking opportunities with both new and existing clients. As the Lead Engineer, this role offers a clear path for progression to Associate or Director level within the company.

What we need from you:
Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Chartered Engineers status (IStructE/CEng)
6+ years of experience working within a design engineering environment in the UK
Strong leadership skills and able to manage project delivery effectively
Structural engineering experience from an industrial environment is preferred
Able to comfortably liaise with clients, stakeholders, and directors
Able to support the development of junior staff and lead
