The Department of Geography and Planning wishes to recruit a University Teacher in Geographic Data Science (Quantitative Human Geography) commencing January 2025. The candidate's teaching expertise and experience should encompass geographic data science (human geography) and align with the Geographic Data Science Lab (GDSL) research group. We are particularly interested in applicants with expertise in Geographic Information Science (GIS) and the application of geographic data science, particularly in priority areas such as retail and consumer data, population, health, human mobility, transport, and spatial inequalities.
The candidate will coordinate and deliver modules that span Geographic Data Science, in addition to responsibilities such as tutorials and field teaching.

Minimum Qualifications:
You should have completed or be about to obtain a PhD in Quantitative Human Geography, Demography, Economics, or a related Social Science discipline.
Contract Duration:
To cover a period of maternity leave from January 2025 until August 2025 (with the possibility of extending).
