Now, we're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Accounts Assistant.
Let's talk about the role. It involves:
1. Import new deals, renewals, and re-lets into the system.
2. Process tenant refunds and action rent increases as required.
3. Handle Landlord statement queries in a timely manner.
4. Post new tenancy invoices and liaise with suppliers regarding payments.
5. Assist in reviewing and processing rental payments to Landlords, ensuring updated statements of account are sent.
6. Support telephone and written queries from Landlords, Tenants, and company staff.
7. Assist in reviewing and processing new move-in files, including documentation review and Landlord commission calculations.
8. Support credit control by assisting with Tenant and Landlord arrears chasing in line with company procedures.
9. Process renewal and re-let accounts, including account adjustments, commission recalculations, and refunding overpaid amounts where necessary.
10. Compile income/expenditure reports for clients for tax purposes.
11. Provide cover for rent protection and Accounts Receivable during holiday periods.
12. Handle client monies banking, receipting (bank and credit card transactions), and reconciliations.
13. Perform general administrative duties, including filing, answering telephones, and supporting the general office environment.
We're looking for individuals with qualities such as:
1. Proven relevant experience in client accounting, preferably in a busy estate agency.
2. Proven knowledge of the latest Estate Agency regulations and industry best practices.
3. Excellent organisational skills in a busy client accounting environment.
4. Numerate and excellent communication skills at all levels to assist and deal with clients, the majority of whom are based overseas.
5. PC literate with experience in using Reapit Software a plus.
6. Time flexible and proven experience working as part of a busy team that is driven to provide excellent customer services externally and internally.
