About the Role This role offers the chance to contribute to medium-sized projects, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality delivery in line with industry standards. The successful candidate will be capable of maximising value, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and driving financial efficiency across projects. Key Responsibilities: Preparing cost estimates and budgets for infrastructure projects. Managing and administering contracts under the NEC form of contracts to ensure compliance and best practice. Conducting risk assessments and providing strategic cost management. Identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities to maximise project value. Managing subcontractor and supplier contracts, including procurement and negotiations. Monitoring and controlling project costs, ensuring financial efficiency and profitability. Preparing accurate valuations, variations, and final accounts. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and site teams to optimise project outcomes. Ensuring compliance with contractual, financial, and legal obligations. Conducting site visits to assess progress and financial implications. Requirements: Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Proven experience in infrastructure, ground investigation, or foundation testing projects. Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with NEC contracts. Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to identify and drive cost savings. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Proficiency in industry-standard software and Microsoft Office Suite. Full UK driving license (preferred but not essential).
