Job Title: Site Manager
Contract: Full-time, fixed-term (15 months), with potential to become permanent
Salary: £48,000 – £55,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Start Date: ASAP

A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced £4 million+ refurbishment project based in Carrickfergus. This exciting project involves two concurrent phases and requires strong leadership, planning, and on-site management.
Responsibilities:
* Project planning and management
* Supervision of workers and subcontractors
* Ensuring health and safety compliance
* Maintaining quality control standards
* Budget and cost management
* Communicating effectively with stakeholders
* Overseeing documentation and reporting
* Managing procurement and resources
* Problem-solving and decision-making
Requirements and Skills:
* Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role
* Certificates in SMSTS, First Aid, Temporary Works, Scaffold Inspections, and Manual Handling
* Ability to read and interpret drawings and programmes
* Strong understanding of building control and commercial building requirements (non-residential)
* Up-to-date knowledge of current H&S legislation and fire code requirements
* Asbestos awareness training
* Familiarity with M&E packages
* Proficiency in Procore document management system
* Strong IT skills
* Excellent leadership and communication skills
* Experience in hotel or healthcare facility projects is desirable
