Job summary This is a 12 months Secondment maternity cover. 30 hours per week. We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic psychologists who are committed to delivering patient-focused care and treatment. The successful applicant will work closely with service users who are hard to engage, with complex trauma histories, and predominantly diagnosed with psychosis or personality disorders. We are keen to invest in the development of new practitioners joining our service to enhance their knowledge, skills, clinical practice, leadership and confidence in working in this area. We are therefore looking for applicants who have experience of working in an inpatient setting with adults and older adults and an interest to develop in this area. Main duties of the job The post holder will work alongside the senior inpatient team such as the service manager, ward matron, the MDT and other clinical leads, and lead the provision of psychology within the inpatient wards. They will be responsible for the psychological aspect of care and service developments within the inpatient service.
