An experienced and professional Customer Support Executive is required to join a leading high-technology engineering company specialising in medical imaging systems across the UK and Belgium. The role is based at their Leighton Buzzard office, with potential opportunities for some home working. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organised and possess strong communication skills, capable of managing customer interactions and providing administrative support across various business functions. Key Responsibilities: Handle all telephone and email enquiries, ensuring professional and efficient customer communication. Liaise with the service management team, engineers, and customers regarding service calls and activities. Ensure all breakdown calls are managed and resolved promptly to minimise customer downtime. Maintain and update call-out logs, service bookings and customer records. Collect, distribute and follow up on field service reports (FSRs). Arrange and confirm preventative maintenance visits with customers in the UK and Belgium. Provide PA support to Company Directors and assistance to the finance team. Raise customer invoices when requested and process supplier orders. Maintain company records and contribute to ISO 9001 accreditation retention. Assist with marketing tasks, including article writing and purchase of advertising materials. Manage hotel and transport bookings. Essential Skills & Experience: Strong background in delivering exceptional customer support. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. High attention to detail with strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and work under pressure. Proficiency in IT systems, databases and spreadsheets. Integrity, honesty and ability to handle confidential information. Working Hours: Full-time: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm (excluding bank holidays). Emergency call handling on Thursdays from 7:30 am – 9:00 am, with additional coverage required during job share holidays. Part-time working may be considered (3 or 4 days per week), with full-time coverage required during job share holidays.
